Let’s stop by KaffePankki and then head to explore DIY art. At Art House Ylen, we’ll see inspiring works: a self-taught artist created hundreds of concrete statues during his retirement. Besides capturing village life, he also sculpted athletes and politicians!

The Atmosphere of the Lace Villa in Rauma
Right by the sea, close to the city center! The impressive building evokes images of maritime history and the location’s past. The restaurant, which has been in operation for decades, is sure to meet our expectations. Unique dishes like lapskous (a traditional stew) may appear on the lunch menu, and fish is served daily. Not bad—I’d say it’s worth a visit!
Since food is the theme of our trip, we can’t miss the neighboring Vohvelikartano with its fantastic treats. After a short of relaxation and a swim, the biggest challenge will be choosing between the different dishes!

Sammallahdenmäki – UNESCO World Heritage Site
From the city center, it’s a half-hour drive to explore a world of the past. Informative signs tell about the history of the place and life during the Stone Age. A perfect final stop for our trip. On the way back, we’ll swing by the Kivikylän Kotipalvaamo meat refinery to pick up the delicious souvenirs we thought about this morning! We’ll savor the memories of new experiences on our journey home!
